It follows the ICSE, SSC and HSC curriculum. Pinewoods is known for the personal attention, excellent results and discipline. Here in PINEWOODS, the institution offers a clean, happy and safe atmosphere together with the benefits of modern facilities and educational technology within a traditional Indian cultural and moral framework. The institution ethos is one of a formal and disciplined approach to both academic and leisure activities. Similarly, knowledge, skill and moral attitudes are acquired through a curriculum decided by the institution: Adequate facilities are provided for sports. Suitable physical activities for boys and girls, seniors and juniors are organized. Boys have hockey, football, cricket, swimming, badminton, basketball, table tennis, roller skating, marathon and general athletics, as well as graded physical exercises and gymnastics. The Institution has a well equipped Science Laboratory and students are supervised by qualified and trained teachers. The Institution is also well equipped with Computer Lab. Hence the number in each class is restricted to 20/25. The teacher student ratio is normally 1:15 Pinewoods provide vegetarian diet for its students. The school diet is drawn up by its experts, is full and nutritious, cooked in hygienic kitchen under the direction of a well qualified and experienced catering staff. Meals are supervised by Mistress or Master on duty. The Students & Staff Food Committee meets regularly to give suggestions. The institution has well equipped infirmaries separate for boys and girls. The Medical Officer, who attends everyday on fixed timings, maintains the health record of each child. Special interest is taken in the development and welfare of each child. The children are weighed regularly and the school has a clearly defined program of preventive medical inspections, dental inspection and eye-tests.
