Mechancial Design Engineer Key Responsibilities: Develop component designs to meet challenging naval specifications Provide support in the development of complex mechanical/electrical integrated systems Interface effectively with other departments as part of a multidisciplinary design team Supporting supply chain efforts to procure hardware from our global suppliers. Complete dimensional tolerance stacks and G,D&T calculations Represent the company during customer design reviews Exercise professional judgment to identify best technical solutions to give competitive advantage while ensuring product safety Identify new approaches and techniques which enhance the efficiency and business impact of the function Travel to support installation, commissioning, and field service of equipment as required Qualifications and Experience: Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering degree or related engineering discipline with 0-1 years (minimum) related experience Ability to meet requirements for security clearance in Canada Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Must be able to cope effectively with deadlines and multiple demands Desired Experience: Academic or professional experience with Solidworks (or equivalent) design software Naval product / integrated systems engineering Autonomy and / or robotics systems engineering Organizational Requirements: Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all company policies and procedures while carrying out duties call - 7649970214
