POWER PLANT MANAGER ELECTRICAL OR MECHANICAL IN INDIA

The successful Power Plant Manager will meet the following requirements. • Mechanical qualifications and Experience of managing Diesel Generator plants is mandatory • Demonstrate experience of managing effective Health and Safety procedures • Managed teams of Commissioning Engineers and Maintenance Technicians within Power Plants • Maintain the care, custody, control and safe operation of Diesel Plant • Manage all health & safety, and regulatory requirements. • Ensure the plant remains operational through effective planned and preventative maintenance schedules (PPM) and effective breakdown procedures • Develop and implement procedures and systems for plant personnel to operate in a safe and high performing manner. Power Plant Manager primary responsibility is to ensure that all generating plant are Kept in a well maintained condition, including generating sets, electrical switch panel and Instrumental panels, all ancillary and auxiliary equipment, all transformers, switchyard and fuel handling facilities, all buildings fixtures and all perimeter fencing. Mechanical Engineer must work closely with the Head Of Power Diversion Manager to enforce and promote productivity of each power plant. Additionally, this position requires understanding of budget Preparation and departmental budget management as it also involves administrative Work and training of personnel in the power generation division.
