Production Manager- 5 yrs. to 10 Yrs. in Food Industry Job Description: Understands the Production Plan for the month/quarter/year from Asst. Manager Production and seeks guidance/implementation support wherever required, Communicates to the to the Asst. Manager Production, the production capacity and manpower numbers available in the Plant for preparing the Production Schedule at his end, Reports unavailability/breakdown of Production equipment's to the Asst. Manager Production for immediate action, Provides help and guidance to the Operators and contractual staffs wherever required, Ensures that the production process followed adheres to the statutory regulations and is as per the plan laid down by the Asst. Manager Production Supervises repair and maintenance of production equipment in case of any breakdown, Supervises the quality check procedure and ensures zero tolerance for defective products, Reports actual performance i.e. Quantity Produced, efficiency levels of Workers, Manpower used, and other necessary input and output data for a detailed variance analysis by the Asst. Manager Production, Checks Production Equipment's for repairs and maintenance to ensure they are ready and in good condition for continued Production, Reports product damages, spoilage etc. to the Asst. Manager Production, Submits required MIS (Costing, Material Consumption, Productivity etc.) to the Asst.
