Basic expected skills: Strong coding logic Core PHP coding skills Ability to write clean/ efficient code SQL and database design HTML5/ CSS3 knowledge Strong English (written) communication skills Hands-on experience in at least one major PHP project Minimum 1 year experience in PHP. Added advantage if you have skills in: Open source product (Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal) MVC/ Framework expertise (CakePHP, Zend) Javascript Frameworks (Meteor, Node, Jquery) Secure coding practices Certification (Zend, Magento)
