Program: Electrical Engineering and Electronic Engineering Departments:: UG 3rd year & 4th Year Dual Degree Job description: 1.Design of solar power inverter. Intern should know basics of power electronics like DC-DC converters (buck-boost converters), AC-DC converters and DC-AC inverters. Basic understanding of solar panels is good but not required. Intern must understand the limitations and benefits of various inverter designs. We would like our inverters to extract maximum amount of energy from the solar panels, the output of which may vary significantly. 2.Design of wireless control module for solar panels We want to design an automatic control mechanism that can monitor and control the orientation of solar panels. We also want to store and retrieve power generation data and communicate via wireless modules. Intern is expected to have basic knowledge of wireless(like bluetooth) communication modules.
