VEGETABLE CAPSICUM IMP.-GREEN F1 HYBRID SEED | APPROX 50 IN DELHI

Capsicum seeds need a good warm environment to germinate (about 20-25ºC). We tend to put them in the airing cupboard for extra warmth until they have germinated and then move them to a window sill. If plant pots in the airing cupboard is frowned upon in your household (smile), then a south facing windowsill is the next best place. Capsicum seeds can take up to a month to germinate. With the need to have early sowings, this can make it difficult if the first sowing fails, so we sow twice as many seeds as we need to ensure we get enough. There are always vegetable gardeners who will take some capsicum seedlings from you if you have too many (don’t try the same with lettuces – everyone has too many of those!).
