This book focuses on large, modern commercial vessels. Unique in its emphasis on the art of shiphandling and maneuvers for such vessels, it is a classic work designed to teach mariners and pilots practical shiphandling skills. Great sailboat, in good shape! Has two jibs, a main, and a spinnaker.  Sleeps six. Engine was recently serviced: New starter, new alternator, and two new batteries. Cabin floor needs some work. Sails and runs beautifully! Mooring in Port Washington, NY through the end of the season is included!

1952 Antique Wooden Carvelplank 21ft Sloop sailboat with outboard True Rocket. The sad day has come to sell this boat. It was in the water last year but we are unable to obtain a mooring and have some expenses within the family that come first.  It is an AR True Rocket, built in Amesbury, MA in 1952. It has been registered in NH and will come with a bill of sale and previous registration. Sail and Jib have been serviced, unsure of Yamaha outboard motor age but is also due a servicing. New deep cycle marine battery. It also comes with a few gallons of paint for the hull and cotton for caulking. This 21ft sloop is a true treasure. It is a centerboard and weighted with lead. The exterior natural wood is all mahogany and the deck is canvas. Custom cushions designed specifically for this boat. There is also a compostable toilet. Pumps should be in working order. Comes with everything you need except for jackets. These carvelplank boats are hard to come by. Serious offers considered. 

Classic 1973 Century 18' Resorter with 340 Chrysler engine. Have owned the boat approximately 13 years. Last registered in 2016, has not been in the water for about four years, however I did start it last year. The reason for selling is I am retired now,, live in Florida and have to downsize.. Boat is original to the best of my knowledge and in nice condition for it's age. Structually I believe the boat to be solid.. Interior is good with some fading, white gel coat is good with only a few imperfections. The blue needs buffing. Does have a few scratches and minor chips here and there.. Column shifter for FNR and aircraft style throttle.. Gauges all work but oil pressure gauge is intermittent.. Boat has a nice custom mooring cover in good shape. I used this boat gently but it was a real head turner when I did,, loud but not obnoxious.. Windshield is clear,, passenger side windshield does have some sparkle when in the right light,, nothing serious..Motor runs cool, I upgraded ignition and eliminated the points. Has new starter a few years ago and I have replaced the water pump.. choke does not work but was not a problem. Borg Warner transmission is fine and does not leak fluid. Trailer is newer and built for an inboard.. Has 14" tires in excellent shape and a good spare. Does have surge brakes and is very road worthy. I was the second owner. I'm selling 'as is'. The boat has been winterized and is in storage at  Seattle Boat in Kent Washington, No trailer.  Has canvas mooring cover, bimini frame without canvas. Includes spotlight and GPS.  HIN BL1A25MUD999.  Will need to be detailed.  Boat engine and outdrive have had regular maintenance and the outdrive was replaced within the last 5 years. I decommissioned the 100 gas tank several years ago after discovering small pinhole leaks in the tank and installed a smaller 30 gallon tank but the main tank  can be re-connected in the future once replaced or repaired with bladder insert.   The engine does not have an hour meter that I can find but I would consider the hours to be low given it was used infrequently but it runs great!

It is mostly freshwater there. Very low hours (230 +/-). I purchased it with just over 210. This is one of the reasons I purchased the boat, very low hours. It was primarily a dock boat, in addition, it had been kept in storage for years before I purchased it due to previous owners family member passing. This is what I was told and also accounted for such low hours. The boat was not perfect and did require some work. I have completed most of the work. It gave me something to do and stay busy with. Due to this the boat will need to be towed, or picked up by transporter/trailer, etc. Cannot be driven away. I can also have it brought to a boat ramp if that would be easier for winning bidder. This can be discussed. There has been some scratches, etc fixed on the Stb side of the boat years ago. The gelcoat color is just a shade off if you look closely, I'm very picky but I wanted to mention it. I'm selling my boat as a "project" or "mechanics special" because there is some work it still needs and I'm being honest about such. I'm not trying to hide things I think it needs. I would really like for someone to pick up where I have had to leave off to finish and enjoy this boat like it should be!
