Antique Maha Lakshmi Hanging Lamp Brass bronze handmade 90+ years old, this is evident in the carving which is blunt due to age, also the colour of the lamp makes the statement of bronzecrafted meticulously by the 'now lost' - wax molding process whereas the images are carved in hand afterwards, this type of lamps are not seen nowadays and as they are not made this way so this lamp is a collectors pride, it weighs nearly 4 kilograms fully hand made and with fine detailing of all essential aspects of traditional auspicious requirements of a Mahalakshmi lamp - such as 14 auspicious anna paravai (Mythological birds) 7 on each arch and two Gaja vahanam on each side, with two lotus flowers in each hand, and two Yazhli mythological creatures at both ends holding the arch joining it to the base. This comes with an one foot chain to hang the lamp.
