Database Administrator Spectrum Softtech Solutions is looking for Senior MySQL Database Administrator to join our team. The profile of Sr. DBA include job responsibilities as; Job Profile The MySQL database administrator candidate will participate in the design, implementation, automation, optimization and ongoing administration of MySQL infrastructure and operations. Works hard to deliver top-notch support for all of the MySQL functionality, scalability, availability, performance and reliability for both in-house and cloud deployments. Designing, modeling, developing and supporting Database Management Systems (DBMS). Work with developers to design and optimize SQL queries and schema to participate in application deployments. Create and modify queries, stored procedures and scripts inside of MySQL Analyzing data requirements, data dictionaries, application and processing architectures, and database schema(s). Then design, develop, amend, optimize, and certify database schema(s) to meet system requirements. Coordinating day-to-day management, support, and troubleshooting activities of the team. Experience with database performance tuning and capacity planning. Provide database administration support, oversee environment management, monitor database health, resource planning, perform database upgrades and patching, backup/recovery, and make recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements Gather, analyze, and normalize relevant information related to and from business processes, functions, and operations to evaluate data credibility and determine relevance and meaning. Perform duties associated with data stewardship, data security, data integration, and data standards. Database mirroring and replications. Develop and manage daily operational procedures. Contribute to database planning efforts such as disaster recovery design, tool selection, warehousing and scaling initiatives Baseline activities include project management, development of best practices, repeatable procedures for deploying databases, day-to-day operational activities (break/fix, space management, backup/recovery and database replication setup/management). Create automated processes related to database administration, space management, security, monitoring, and performance Adhere to all required PCI/SDLC procedures, Ensuring database systems procedures adhere to regulatory requirements. Support required application maintenance windows, and support on-call. Perform installation, upgrades, and patching of database software. Troubleshoot and solve complex database problems through research, analysis and collaboration with team members. Desired candidate profile · 2+ years in database administration (DBA) with MySQL Database ·Knowledge and experience of MySQL query’s, views and Store procedures, with a proven track record · Knowledge and experience in managing relational databases ·Solid functional experience in Linux. · Good scripting ability and working knowledge of Shell Scripts · Strong organization, interpersonal, and team-leading skills ·Strong multi-tasking abilities, ability to work under pressure, and make priority decisions, ·Pro-active, dedicated, committed and responsible.

12 + Years of Overall Experience, Primarily 5+ Years in Developing Solutions, Solution Architecture with Expert Level of Java and AWS Must have Experience in Architecting Large scale cloud Applications 10+ years’ experience in one or more architecture domains (e.g. business architecture, solutions architecture, application architecture). Three (3) years of experience with designing and architecting large scale applications, including SaaS and cloud-based applications. JAVA /.NET Technology Architecture and software development experience with and understanding of a modern technology stack. Advanced knowledge and experience in one or more current programming languages (E.g. - Java, Java script (including AngularJS),.NET, Python, Ruby or PHP). Experience defining the architecture of cloud deployed applications (AWS preferred) Experience with containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes or other similar tooling and defining and driving DevOps best practices within large teams Experience establishing legacy modernization and migration roadmaps for large scale applications and building applications using service-oriented, micro service, and/or API based architectures at an enterprise scale.
