Roles of Merchandising Manager: Manages merchandising operations, develops and executes merchandising plans that delivers volume and profit goals. Manage multiple projects, monitor and allocate appropriate resources to various accounts. Supervise everyday operations and monitor the progress of each project. Develop and ensure compliance to budget, job orientation programs, and conduct training needs for all new merchants. Supervise & ensure effectiveness of all merchant activities. Monitor and apply various merchandising methods and ensure increase in productivity. Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales. Identifies new suppliers and products that reflects consumer preferences and drive sales. Maintain appropriate pricing for products accordingly. Train and educates staff to ensure about the product assortment reflects branding, seasonal and customer demand. Monitor and evaluate performance of all employees, Ensure effective co-ordination with employees and organize workflow process. Co-ordinate with various departments and monitor various store set ups, develop and execute store rotation schedules. Co-ordinate with Store management and hire & train stores associates. Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and Inventory. Forecast profits/sales & plan the budgets. Monitor stock movement & remain up to date with industry best practices. Maintain a safe working environment.
