This position is available for an immediate start as our business is expanding and growing and we need people to help our quoting team The person we are looking for is a very organized individual with a positive, can do attitude to help us with quote. SIRC depends on US Government publishing their requirements for Software on various US Government websites. SIRC will respond to almost all those requirements. SIRC will create the opportunity in our internal system (aka DP) and will assign that opportunity to salesrep. As a quote clerk, you will be responsible for end-to-end for this opportunity -- Find the right Distributor where you can get pricing for US Federal Government -- Make sure that SIRC is a partner for that particular Software (e.g. Adobe, Oracle, Microsoft, Nuix etc..) -- Send a nice email to the Distributor for pricing -- Follow-up with the Distributor to get the pricing in time so that we can submit the opportunity within the Due Date specified -- Distributor will send the pricing to Quote Clerk -- Attach the pricing documents within DP -- Quote Clerk will enter the pricing into our internal system (aka DP) and "Generate the Estimate" made out to US Federal Government -- Quote Clerk will coordinate with their manager for the price markup -- Quote Clerk will also check the pricing on US Federal Government website www.gsaadvantage.gov to make sure that pricing does not exceed the listed price -- Ad Hoc Administrative Tasks, as requested.
