The device does not suspend any current into water hence is very safe. The float riding on a metallic rod is suspended into water and is free for Up/Down  movement. The float rides on a metallic rod hence on reaching the lower end of rod it triggers signal to main control unit to start the pumping system. Now on the other hand when the float reaches the top level of rod it triggers a signal for the main control unit to Off the pumping system. The device is fool proof as it works with the water level movement and does not depend on electronic probes for signal at all.
