What is the purpose of a work of art? What drives us to make art? Why do we value art and consume it? Nick Zangwill argues that we cannot understand the nature of art without first having answers to these fundamental questions. On his view, which he dubs 'the Aesthetic Creation Theory', a work of art is something created for a particular aesthetic purpose. More specifically, the function of art is to have certain aesthetic properties in virtue of its non-aesthetic properties, and this function arises because of the artist's insight into the nature of these dependence relations and her intention to bring them about. In defending this view, Zangwill provides an account of aesthetic action and aesthetic creative thought and shows how the Aesthetic Creation Theory can accommodate two kinds of seeming counterexamples to aesthetic theories of art: narrative art and twentieth-century avant-garde art. Aesthetic Creation also contains a detailed exposition and critique of a range of rival views, including Dickie's institutional theory of art, accounts of art that make essential reference to an audience, and sociological theories which purport to explain the nature of art without recourse to the notion of the aesthetic.

Ocean Offshore Marine India BOSIET course is a minimum requirement to work offshore. The course consists of four modules; Safety Induction, Helicopter Safety and Escape (HUET), Sea Survival and First Aid, Fire Fighting and Self Rescue. The BOSIET is required for cold water areas and includes additional training in the use of survival suits and emergency breathing systems during the HUET module. The BOSIET emergency training is offered in all countries. The training that is imparted contains both theory and practical application so that the learner can understand all the aspects easily. The total hours of training comes to around 22.5hours. In order to certify that a person has successfully completed the training, a certificate is issued to the person. Working in offshore areas is very difficult. But, as much as risky offshore drill areas are, it cannot be denied that they are equally necessary. This is why with the help of BOSIET a very important preventive measure towards reducing the chances of any human loss is carried out. The various aspects of the BOSIET training program can be explained below: Introduction1.1 Basic Safety induction1.2 offshore hazards & its effects1.3 PPE requirements1.4 Role of medic & Medicines1.5 Alcohol and substance abuse policy.2. Machine learning is A branch of artificial intelligence, concerned with the design and development of algorithms that allow computers to evolve behaviors based on empirical data. As intelligence requires knowledge, it is necessary for the computers to acquire knowledge. It is very difficult to categorize to all the decisions based on all possible inputs. So to solve this problem, algorithms are developed. These algorithms are developed based on specific data and past experience with the principles of statistics and probability theory, logic, search. The developed algorithms form the basis of various applications such as: •Vision processing •Language processing •Forecasting (e.g., stock market trends) •Pattern recognition •Games •Data mining •Expert systems •Robotics SOME MACHINE LEARNING METHODS Machine learning algorithms are often categorized as I.Supervised machine learning algorithms II.unsupervised machine learning algorithms III.Semi-supervised machine learning algorithms IV.Reinforcement machine learning algorithms Supervised machine learning algorithms: Supervised learning deals with learning a function from available training data. A supervised learning algorithm analyzes the training data and produces an inferred function. Some common examples are, •classifying e-mails as spam, •labeling web pages based on their content, and •voice recognition. There are some supervised algorithms such as neural networks, Support Vector Machines (SVMs), and Naive Bayes classifiers. Unsupervised machine learning algorithms: Unsupervised learning is an extremely powerful tool for analyzing available data and look for patterns and trends. It is most commonly used for clustering similar input into logical groups. There are some common approaches such as, •k-means •self-organizing maps, and •hierarchical clustering Semi-supervised machine learning algorithms: Semi-supervised is comes between supervised and unsuperv

arithmetic of the integers, linear algebra, an introduction to group theory, the theory of polynomial functions and polynomial equations, and some Boolean algebra. It could be supplemented, of course, by material from other chapters. Again, Course 5 (Calculus) aiscusses the differential and integral calculus more or less from the beginnings of these theories, and proceeds through functions of several real variables, functions of a complex variable, and topics of real analysis such as the implicit function theorem. We would, however, like to make a further point with regard to the appropriateness of our text in course work. We emphasized in the Introduction to the original edition that, in the main, we had in mind the reader who had already met the topics once and wished to review them in the light of his (or her) increased knowledge and mathematical maturity. We therefore believe that our book could form a suitable basis for American graduate courses in the mathematical sciences, especially those prerequisites for a Master's degree.

** (WELCOME “^” TO FU-VISION) ** PHP for the Enterprise Dynamic scripting for agile application development PHP, the open source general-purpose scripting language often used for Web development, is a popular student on campus—especially corporate campuses. According to independent research firm Net craft, PHP is used by more than 40 percent of the Web applications market, and more than 22 million Web sites have been built with it. So what's behind this growing popularity? Let's take a closer look, starting with PHP's beginnings. Putting PHP to Work Most developers today use PHP in Web applications from the simplest guest book or blog to shopping carts, content management systems, and other complex applications. PHP scripts are used for server-side scripting, command-line scripting, and desktop applications. With PHP server-side scripting, developers can do almost anything—generate dynamic page content, collect forms data, handle cookies—and more. PHP runs on most operating systems, including Linux, UNIX, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and others, and it supports most Web servers, including Apache, Zeus Web Server, lighttpd, and Microsoft Internet Information Server. In addition to HTML, PHP can output images, Adobe Acrobat files, Macromedia Flash, XML, and more—all of which can be auto generated. There are many PHP extension libraries that perform common functions, and there are communities that support PHP libraries, including the PHP Extension and Application Repository, which provides, maintains, and distributes a structured library of common function and other code, and the PHP Extension Community Library, which offers C extensions that expand PHP's core functionality. PHP 5, PHP 6, and Beyond "The overall direction for PHP as it matures is to make its way into more enterprise-level applications as organizations take advantage of the agility and ease of learning that PHP affords," says Rendell. "With PHP 5, development organizations are able to create more-powerful applications in much less time, which reduces costs."
