Description Four Channel 12V Relay Board: A relay is an electrically operated switch. Current flowing through the coil of the relay creates a magnetic field which attracts a lever and changes the switch contacts. The coil current can be on or off so relays have two switch positions. Relays are used where it is necessary to control a circuit by a low-power signal (with complete electrical isolation between control and controlled circuits), or where several circuits must be controlled by one signal. The board has FOUR relay which works on 12V but the input signal can come directly from microcontroller output working at 3V or 5V to control relays. Description: A Johnson Geared motor gives the mechanical throughput of 10RPM. A Johnson Geared motor is a simple DC motor with gear box attached to the shaft of the motor which is mechanically commutated electric motor powered from direct current (DC). Construction of Side Shaft Gear Box: The gear assembly is set up on two metallic cylinders whose working can be called as similar to that of an axle. A total of three gears combine on these two cylinders to form the bottom gear assembly out of which two gears share the same axle while one gear comes in between them and takes a separate axle. Description: This is the new Arduino Uno R3. In addition to all the features of the previous board, the Uno now uses an ATmega16U2 instead of the 8U2 found on the Uno (or the FTDI found on previous generations). This allows for faster transfer rates and more memory. Description The Arduino Ethernet Shield allows an Arduino board to connect to the internet. It is based on the Wiznet W ethernet chip providing a network (IP) stack capable of both TCP and UDP. The Arduino Ethernet Shield supports up to four simultaneous socket connections. Use the Ethernet library to write sketches which connect to the internet using the shield. The ethernet shield connects to an Arduino board using long wire-wrap headers which extend through the shield. This keeps the pin layout intact and allows another shield to be stacked on top.. The latest revision of the shield adds a micro-SD card slot, which can be used to store files for serving over the network. It is compatible with the Arduino UNO and Mega (using the Ethernet library coming in Arduino ). An SD card library is not yet included in the standard Arduino distribution. Arduino communicates with both the W and SD card using the SPI bus (through the ICSP header). This is on digital pins , and 13 on the Duemilanove and pins , and 52 on the Mega. On both boards, pin 10 is used to select the W and pin 4 for the SD card. These pins cannot be used for general i/o. On the Mega, the hardware SS pin, 53, is not used to select either the W or the SD card, but it must be kept as an output or the SPI interface won't work. Note that because the W and SD card share the SPI bus, only one can be active at a time. If you are using both peripherals in your program, this should be taken care of by the corresponding libraries.
