When water flows through the rotor, the rotor rotates and its speed changes with different flow rate. The hall-effect sensor outputs the corresponding Signal pulse. It is very simple to use, you just need to connect the PWM output to the Arduino interrupt pin 2, and can measure the number of PWM pulse/interrupt per unit of time.
