This comes with an one foot chain to hang the lamp. This lamp was a part of the dowry given to my grandmother by her parents during her marriage and now she is 92 yrs old so one can deduce the age of the lamp, and this lamp is a symbol of wealth and prosperity since it portrays the wealth god Mahalakshmi in her full manifestations.
