EDUCATION FOR THE FUTURE - VMFT THIRUVANANTHAPURAM IN THIRUVANANTHAPURAM

We tend to believe that children will learn if they go to school. In fact, that is the purpose of education. But across the world, there is a breakdown in the connection between schooling and learning for a significant proportion of children. This was the focus of the discussion around the Indian release of the book Facing Forward Schooling for Learning in Africa authored by Sajitha Bashir, Marlaine Lockheed, Elizabeth Ninan and Jee-Peng Tan, jointly published the World Bank and Agence Francaise de Development.
