Position:-Counsellor(Females Only) Qualification:-Any Graduate Experience:-Freshers Location:-Hyderabad Job Description:- 1.establishing a relationship of trust and respect with clients; 2.agreeing a counselling contract to determine what will be covered in sessions (including confidentiality issues); 3.encouraging clients to talk about issues they feel they cannot normally share with others; 4.actively listening to client concerns and empathising with their position; 5.accepting without bias the issues raised by clients; 6.helping clients towards a deeper understanding of their concerns; 7.challenging any inconsistencies in what clients say or do; 8.helping clients to make decisions and choices regarding possible ways forward; 9.referring clients to other sources of help, as appropriate; 10.attending supervision and training courses; 11.undertaking personal therapy (mandatory for accreditation); 12.liaising, as necessary, with other agencies and individuals to help make changes based on the issues raised by clients; 13.working to agreed targets in relation to client contact; 14.undertaking group as well as individual therapy on occasions; 15.keeping records and using reporting tools.
