PART TIME DIPLOMA/DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING IN INDIA

The Institution Of Mechanical Engineers (India) is one of the oldest professional institutions in India established in to promote, advance and update knowledge, business & practice of mechanical engineering professionals. Among the activities it conducts biannual examinations known as Technician Engineers Part-I & Part-II, Automobile Technician Engineers examination Part-I & Part-II, Production Technician Engineers Part-I & Part-II, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Technician Engineers Examination Part-I & Part-II and Section A & Section B of Associate Membership (also known as Chartered Engineers) Examination in Mechanical Engineering. The Institution is thus helping thousands of younger members of community working in engineering to obtain engineering qualification & also to advance their technical knowledge & enhance their engineering career but, who have been unfortunate in securing admission in regular Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges due to no fault of their through non formal system of education. Eligibility for Admission to Examinations Only Members of the Institution are allowed to enroll / appear in any of the Institution Examination T-ENG. LEVEL Part I A Pass in 10th Standard with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with 6 months engineering work experience either as Trainee or Employee. Part II A Pass In 10+2 level examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or a pass in T. Eng, Part-I of the Institution’s examinations with 6 months work experience either as trainee or Employee. Section A A Pass in Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic with 6 months work experience in Engineering field either as Trainee or Employee or a final pass in T. Eng. Part-II examination of Institution and who have 3½ year Engineering work experience. Section B A Pass in Section-A examination of the institution or equivalent qualification with Engineering work experience.
