About the Company: East Village Technologies is a provider of technology services in the ecommerce domain. One of our clients, a leading digital media house is in the process of launching a online product discovery platform, targeting the Indian online shopper. Develop and maintain a Ruby on Rails application for a next gen product discovery platform. Build features based on input from product manager that will increase user engagement. Integrate with a 3rd party api, that will provide additional value added features to increase user engagement and experience.  The role will allow candidate to work in a well funded startup, respected management team, exposure to the latest technologies in ecommerce and directly work with CEO and CTO.  Skills Required Confidence in building and maintaining an entire Ruby on Rails application with only some help from a senior member Ruby on Rails Git Good with relational databases Experience integrating with web services Preferred Experience with key-value data stores like Redis Server setup and maintenance 2+ years experience in application development Location is Chennai (Royapettah)
