SPORTS FEST IN INDIA

In an era of Social media, Cell phones & Internet youths are at risk of developing serious ailments owing to lack of sports and physical activities. For a holistic development of personality, sports hardly have any parallel. Keeping these concerns in mind an intra college sports week “ Spardha ” was organized at School of Management Sciences, Lucknow from 2nd February to 7th February, . Concluding day of the ceremony witnessed keen involvement of the Secretary & CEO of the Institute Sri Sharad Singh, who made time to cheer for students in various events. He reiterated the abiding commitment of the institute to the extra and co-curricular development of the students. The Chief Guest for this event Mr. Ravendra Mishra-HR, Garware Wallropes Ltd. also appreciated the students. A host of outdoor as well as indoor sports competitions witnessed some edge – of- the- seat movements and display of sportsman spirit. United Cruizers in Cricket & Football, Warriors in Volleyball, Blasters in Basketball bagged First prize. A row of other electrifying games viz. Athletics, Shot-Put Throw, Spear Throw, Chess, Table-Tennis and Pool etc., also brought thrill and excitement in the environment of the institute. The winners were felicitated with Medals & Certificates amidst resounding applause in the campus playground. The overall top three winner teams are as under: 1.Undergraduate (UG) Blasters (First Position) 2.United Cruisers (Second Position) 3.Mechanical Warriors (Third Position)
