2019 HOME-BUILT CLC NORTHEASTERN DORY IN INDIA

This handmade sailboat/rowboat is approximately 17’ long and has the style and stability of a dory and has only been used a few times.   It was constructed out of Okoume, Mahogany, Spanish Cedar and Sitka Spruce woods, covered with fiberglass and epoxy, and then finished with varnish and marine grade paint.   The result is a very lightweight (approx. 130 lbs) yet strong boat that can safely hold up to 800lbs.   The boat can be easily converted from a sailboat to a rowboat within minutes (without tools) by removing the mast/rigging/dagger board, and the rudder.    Provisioned for 2 rowing positions, it has one set of wood oars.   Also not pictured, there is a removable side motor mount for a small outboard (outboard NOT included).   The 4 seat positions have foam under them that will float the boat in the event of a capsize.  This boat would make an elegant tender for a larger boat.  The sail/rigging is in perfect condition. The boat is registered in Georgia and has a HIN affixed to the transom and the price  includes an aluminum Trailex trailer which allows it to be easily handled and towed by a small 4-cylinder car.   The mast is easily removed and fits inside the boat for transport.
