This works as a normal lock and also an alarm. Here the siren sounds alarm at very high intensity- 110 dB- when anyone tries to: 1.      intrude into your garage/house by breaking or tampering your lock 2.      break/tamper your lock on the shutters of your shop/warehouse/shed Thus giving you alert of any intrusion by a thief or unauthorized person. The lock gets activated within 10 seconds of any one tampering with it directly or shaking any part of the shutter/door to which this lock is attached, that is, alarm lock gets activated through any kind of touch or strong vibrations!!! This alerts you or others that someone is tampering with your lock and the intruder/thief gets either scared and immediately runs away from the spot or gets caught red-handed.   How it works???  1.      It consists of two units – 2.  BASE UNIT- this is made of heavy duty alloy metal and has built-in lock with keys and high intensity alarm of 110 dB. The alarm works with powerful batteries located in this unit. 3.      U-SHAPE ROD - this is also made of heavy-duty alloy metal 4.   The product comes with U-rod locked in the base unit. When you want to use it, just unlock it with the key provided and remove it by pulling from the base unit. 5.   Insert the U-rod into the loop provided (where you normally put your lock) and then join with base unit by inserting into the holes on top of base unit- here you will heat clear “beep” sound (if no “beep” sound, then reverse the U-rod and insert it again.), turn the key and remove it. Now, the lock is closed and activated. If anyone tries to tamper with the lock by touching it, alarm will get triggered & siren will sound so loud that everyone nearby will hear it and either thief will run away or be caught on the spot.. 6.   The alarm will get triggered and sound siren after 5 seconds of touching it or heavy vibrations received by it. The siren will remain for 10 seconds and stop, if lock is touched again, immediately siren will sound for another 10 seconds….so on till it is opened with its own key. 7.   If after locking it with your key, you wish to open it anytime thereafter, please see that you insert the key and unlock it & remove U-rod within 5 seconds, else siren will get activated. 8.      When NOT in use, pls insert the rod in reverse side in such a way that there is NO “beep” sound. 9.      Two keys are given FREE, as these keys are specially made; pls keep one duplicate for future use. 10.  Battery: six AG-13 button cells are used in the base unit- life will depend on the usage. Base unit can be opened by removing screws in the slot where U-rod is inserted
