L – Zone: The smartest “Smart City” being planned As a part of Delhi Master Plan , one of the largest smart cities in India will be the L-Zone (carved out of Dwarka,Rohini & Narela) in Delhi. Located in South West Delhi, the zone spreads across hectares of land & is expected to give an impetus to the slow and stagnant real estate market of the NCR. Following would be its salient features: •- High and mid end development projects - Current land prices range from 4.0 to 6.0 crores per acre - Proximity to Haryana and Green Belt will encourage Farm House projects across the Zone - Closest to the International airport among all the proposed zones - Delhi government has already allocated approximately 900 acres in L-Zone for water reservoirs alone L-Zone aims at having 20 Lakh inhabitants
