CAREER COUNSELOR FOR STUDENTS AND OTHERS IN INDIA

Counselor for career counseling (1) Duties: Organizing career counseling sessions at the prescribed schools. Establishing a relationship of trust and respect with the students. Planning and designing of programmes to be covered in sessions Encouraging students to express their feelings Actively listening to students concerns and empathising with their position; Helping and advising students to make decisions and choices regarding possible ways forward; Referring students to other sources of help, as appropriate;; Liaising, with other agencies and individuals to help make changes based on the issues raised by students; Undertaking group as well as individual therapy; Documentation and reporting. Qualification MA in Psychology with minimum 8- 10 years of experience in counseling at School/Institutional level. Good communication and inter personal skills.
