Area of Responsibility: Technical: - Ability to understand customer/marketing requirements & derive/develop right technical solutions - Proficient in Part/Product design for plastic, sheet metal, spring & metal component DFM, DFA, GD&T, Tolerance Analysis - Proficient in PDM/PLM Tools Pro/e Leadership Skills: - Working Knowledge of Estimation, Project planning/scheduling and monitoring for design activities. - Excellent Presentation and Written/Oral communications. - Self driven to take initiative to run internal transformation Programs /Projects/ Innovations. - Open to work across different functions and culture. Nice to Have: - Preferable to have the candidate from Low voltage / Wiring devices product line - Awareness/Knowledge of Design Thinking Qualifications Education: Graduate degree In Mechanical/Electrical engineering Overall 7-10 years of experience is required and 3/5yrs of relevant exp. Preference: - Masters in Design - Tooling Background.
