​Your new role The Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible to the Quality Manager, working with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers on the materials and over all quality of the final product. What you'll need to succeed In conjunction with purchasing personnel, you will work to establish a comprehensive system for dealing with suppliers including communication methods, and documentation requirements. You will contribute to the implementation of a supplier development programme in order to continuously improve flexibility, capability, quality and cost. Part of your remit is to work with suppliers and internal Company personnel on targeted continuous improvement programs. You will conduct external supplier audits to the international standard and internal company audits as required. In addition, you will investigate and bring about speedy and permanent resolution to any problems originating with the supplier. Please be aware that foreign Travel is an essential part of this role The person We are looking for a degree qualified electronic/ electrical engineer with a minimum of a 2:1 classification, and experience in high volume manufacturing environment.
