LINKSYS NAS200 NETWORK ATTACHED STORAGE WITH 250 GB HARD IN INDIA

The NAS is used only passively for backup of important data and not actively powered on 24x7. Therefore condition is very good of both the unit and disks. I am selling this as I have moved to FreeNAS server. The NAS can support upto 2 x 1 TB disks for 2 TB JBOD/RAID-0 storage or 1 TB RAID 1 backup. It has fast ethernet (100mbps or 12.5 MB/s LAN interface). The NAS supports upto 4.4 MB/s read in journaled disk format (i use this) and twice that in non-journaled mode. It also has a media server. It is more than sufficient for 1080p video streaming and network playback. Write rates are also similar (3-4 MB/s). You can attach more disks to this NAS using USB host ports. The NAS firmware is the latest and rock solid stable. You can buy NAS only without disks at Rs. 1000 and disks at Rs. 500/- per disk. The original invoices are attached. A simple USB 3.0 Direct attached HDD case without RAID & NAS capability itself is Rs. 2400/- in market (here the NAS case is offered for Rs. 1000/-). So by all means avoid bargaining. Also,You may think that this is slow by today's standards (which it is), but the device is extremely useful to keep a safe backup of your data (as long as it is less than 1 TB). That's what its USP is considering the 2K offer price.
