It does not serve 24V DC or 48 V DC devices.)   -  Function is to manage and control the Solar DC charge to batteries connected to the Charge Controller and give 12V DC out to serve DC Loads.  This enables proper and balanced charge to batteries through Solar, and thus protect the batteries from situation of extra current. This also enables stable 12V DC output from SCC to serve as input to 12V DC devices.  - The Solar Charge Controller (SCC) is connected to Solar Panel as well as Battery and Load. -  When Solar power is available, the Solar Charge Controller first serves the load and remaining power from Solar Panels is used for charging the battery, which allows for Zero Running Cost Solar Power to charge the battery at rated power, and also protects the battery from faster than recommended charging, thus retaining life of the battery.  The DC Load is also served giving preference to Solar.
