Interior designers, on the other hand, must have a recognised education, and most interior design firms require designers to have at least a bachelor's degree, although formal training is not an absolute must. An associate or bachelor is a prerequisite for working in the field of interior design. Interior designers for furniture companies will most likely do their work for high-end architectural firms, but not for interior designers.
