We are creating a marketplace with these manpower agencies (plus training institutes & colleges) on the supply side and companies (corporate, SMEs, startups) on the demand side. Over 95% of the entry level market is currently transacted offline with the biggest player (Randstad) constituting less than 4%. The market is completely dominated by local manpower agencies that source candidates from nearby areas. We intend to remain operationally lean by consolidating these agencies and providing them with technological solution to continue doing what they are best at i.e. sourcing of candidates. Importantly, the target group currently does not access online job portals and we expect the domination of manpower agencies to continue. The team: The team is composed of young, energetic and highly motivated IIT Bombay alumni,coming from different professional backgrounds. Description of Business Development @ aasaanjobs.com: The Business Development (BD) team takes care of the supply side of the market i.e partnerships with manpower agencies, training institutes, colleges, NGOs (for differently abled students) and other partners. Position Description: The person would be responsible for conducting counseling, registration and assessment for candidates. The person would also be the first point of contact of Aasaanjobs and would need to explain the entire placement process to the candidate. In addition, the person should also have a knowledge about the job openings and use the same in scheduling a candidate for interviews. Duties: ● Work with the rest of the Business Development (BD) team to develop a coherent go to traveling assessor strategy ● In charge of ensuring efficient assessments and maintaining quality of assessment ● The person should be willing to travel to nearby locations to carry out assessments ● Work closely with the BD calling team and BD field executives ● Make recommendations on how to increase assessment efficiency and improve its quality Location: ● There wont be a fixed location and the person would have to travel to different venues. However the destination would be conveyed in advance and it would be ensured that the destination is closest to the residence of the employee Expectations ● Is self motivated and self driven ● Must be very fluent in English (verbal and written) ● Should have a good typing speed ● Contributes individually and in a team ● Strives to learn best practices in every aspect of the job ● Must learn and contribute to our vision, our mission & our team Educational & Professional Qualification: ● Graduate or Post Graduate in any field Industry Experience: ● No specification, even freshers can apply
