​As a Maintenance Electronics engineer you will: Diagnose and rectify all faults of an electrical / electronic nature, use wiring diagrams, manuals, drawings and sketches for all plant equipment and services. Provide an electrical / electronic maintenance service for the installation of all plant equipment and factory service units. Follow electrical / electronic planned maintenance program's. Initiate and carry out electrical / electronic modifications to new and existing plant equipment and services. Re-condition and rebuild electrical and electronic components, controls and equipment. Build electronic control equipment using solid state components for new and existing plant equipment and services. The ideal Maintenance Electronics will have the following skills and experience: Formal recognised course of training in electrics / electronics. Able to read complex electrical/electronic wiring diagrams. Able to use all electrical / electronic measuring testing and calibration equipment. Able to work under own initiative. Competent with PLC control systems. In return the Maintenance Electrician will receive a salary of 8,000 - 12,000 per hour.
