FIELD OFFICER AT BAHADURPURA MANDAL; WORKING WITH SCHOOLS. IN INDIA

Summary of Position: The current role will be responsible for coordination and execution of all the School development activities. The role will be exposed to multiple project activities like strengthening the capacities of School Monitoring Committees; supporting the implementation of Learning aids, Teacher Training, Tutorials, Principal Leadership training in the Government Schools. The role will have multiple interface with stakeholders related to NGOs, Corporate Donors, Corporate employee Volunteers and Government Officials and elected members. About the Project: Under the initiation of Government about 117 Government Schools of Bahadurpura Mandal will be developed to bring about quality learning outcomes in children. The projects main objective is to bring about holistic development of Government schools for quality learning outcomes in children of underserved communities. The project duration is expected to be around 3-5 years. Responsibilities: •Strengthening the School Management Committees •Conducting Survey’s and assessing the School requirements •Project reporting and managing the documentation of the project Required Qualification & Experience: Any Graduate or PG with 2-4 years of work experience in Community Development and specifically to Schools and Education sector is preferred. Skills: •Knowledge of MS Office •Good skills in Excel •Skills in PPTs making is good to have. ‘ •Language skills – English minimal to communicate; and Telugu & Hindi is must to have. •Ability to travel widely in both Urban and rural areas •Ability to communicate with different stakeholders involved in Community Development projects like government, donors, community leaders and partnering NGOs •Ability to learn and find solutions for problems on a continuous and consistent basis.
