Description Single Channel 12V Relay Board: A relay is an electrically operated switch. Current flowing through the coil of the relay creates a magnetic field which attracts a lever and changes the switch contacts. The coil current can be on or off so relays have two switch positions. Relays are used where it is necessary to control a circuit by a low-power signal (with complete electrical isolation between control and controlled circuits), or where several circuits must be controlled by one signal. The board has ONE relay which works on 12V but the input signal can come directly from microcontroller output working at 3V or 5V to control relays. Each relay can switch varierty of AC or DC high voltage, high current loads working at 110V or 220V AC mains like lights, fans, motors and such. The status of relay is indicated by the RED Led. This is a Single channel relay board operates on 12V. Can be used directly to control 240V power appliance from most of the microcontrollers and other control system circuits.
