INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER IN INDIA

Principal responsibilities: This position will be responsible for preparing / checking the Instrument related documents (such as DCS configuration, Instrumentation and Control Philosophy, Instruments specifications, I/O list, Instrument index, BOM, Cable schedule, Instrument location, cable routing layout / Earthing layout, Instrument datasheets, Loop drawing / Instrument panel terminal details, Instrument hook up drawings. Control room layout drawing, Job procedures along with ITP, etc). Prepare discipline drawings / documents using AutoCAD. Review of documents in connection with other disciplines, like P&ID s, Cause & Effect Diagrams, etc. Preparation of various Instrument related calculations, control valves sizing, etc. Provide on-the-job training to Trainee Engineers. Direct and / or participate in job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data. Will have to go on deputation to foreign countries as per requirement of overseas clients. Qualifications and Skills required: Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Instrumentation Engineering. Minimum of 3-4 years experience in Instrumentation design in the Hydrocarbon/upstream oil and gas industry. Experience in Engineering of Hydrocarbon Facilities. Experience in preparation of specification, sizing of instruments in Engineering Consultancy (Required). Strong computer skills, including fluency in CAD, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (required)
