REQUIREMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER IN INDIA

Job Description Hi, Greetings for the day! Designation CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER ROADS STRUCTURES / HIGHWAYS STRUCTURES Location: Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolkata, Chennai, Noida, Hyderabad. Job Description His tasks include: - Ensure that the structures work, entrusted to him are executed in accordance with the plan, drawings specifications and time schedule. Report to the superior / construction managers regarding progress of the work & constraints in work under his execution. Manage relations with supervisors & workmen and control execution of relevant activities under his supervision. Also provide technical guidance to his subordinates Report to higher site management regarding constraints and possible solutions in respect of work under his supervision. Get the works, under his supervision, inspected and approved by the client / Consultant / Independent Engineer. Ensure implementation of quality, safety, hygiene and environmental measures. Desired Profile He should have Engineering Degree (preferably first class) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university / engineering college. He should be conversant with latest construction & formwork technologies used in highway structures / roads structures. Especially for Bridges / Overpass / Underpass/ Culverts etc. Knowledge of computer applications (MS Project & Primavera) and codes of practices specification for Highway construction will be an added advantage. Should be ready to relocate in India & Abroad. He should have knowledge of contract billing and basic statutory requirements. He should have good communication skills and aptitude to develop leadership qualities.
