REQUIREMENT OF SOCIAL WORKER/ VOLUNTEER IN CHENNAI

To Create Solid waste management awareness in chennai for the period of 3 Months (100 days). The awareness program supported by Chennai Corporation. Propects will be honored with certificates and rewards for their contribution to the events by Chennai Corporation of TamilNadu. Graduates can make use of this interns for their future career. Preferred Academic Qualifications: Volunteers of any ages. They may be school children, young peoples, parents or family members, or retired. Graduate of a recognized university in a relevant area (social work, international or urban development, education, environmental studies etc) are also welcomed. Professional Experience: Nil. Skills Preferred: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills. Team player with ability to delegate and coordinate work. Willing to work creatively with available materials/ resources. Persons with below skills is an added advantage. Possess strong English oral and written skills. Proficient IT skills (MS office, Digital marketing, photoshop) Documentation skills. Outcome: Improve the lives of people in society and learn Values and ethics. To undertake a variety of different professional roles. Every day is likely to be different. Improves communicating, problem solving, empathy, team work and time management skills.
