SINGLE BED: LOW DESIGN, STORAGE UNDERNEATH, MATTRESS IN INDIA

Very sturdy single bed, 7 feet x 3 feet. Low height. After adding a 5-inch thick coir mattress, the effective height is 17-18 inches from the floor. Very practical and cozy for a spare bed or for a single person in a small room. Constructed out of very solid plywood, with double-layer construction of ply where needed. Below the bed are two separate storage chambers, rolling on heavy-duty wheels. These can be rolled out and pushed back in when needed. Each chamber is 27" wide and 7" in height. The depth of the chambers is a few inches less than 3 feet, which is the width of the bed. Each chamber has a plywood cover which can be lifted off for access. See photos. The bed is super sturdy, and kids can jump up and down on it all day without any damage to anything. The sides of the bed have been panelled with real-wood veneer and then polished with melanine polish, in a dark wood stain. The polish still looks very good. This level of sturdiness is impossible to find in inexpensive ready-made beds from furniture showrooms. Offered here with the coir mattress.
