CONTENT WRITER IN INDIA

Job Description • Prepare internal and external marketing communications including marketing collaterals, hoardings, Brochures, newsletters, e-flyers, Pamphlets, Teasers, advertisements, Email Blasts, classifieds, announcements, press releases, quarterly corporate reports, presentations, sales support, etc. as needed. • Writes and posts content online; maintains company Web pages and blogs(s). • Keeps up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, marketing collaterals, newsletters, online advertisements, press releases and business/industry trends. • Contributing to the company’s social sites like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Orkut, YouTube and online forums etc. • Should be able to independently handle writing requirements for an entire website. • Responsibility to ensure all content developed and published meet our company’s editorial standards and brand guidelines. • Utilize industry and organizational knowledge to develop ideas and content. Be proficient in research and be able to produce unique, original content. Desired Candidate Profile: • The candidate should be a Graduate or Post Graduate in English/Literature or Mass communication/ Journalism with excellent command over written English. • Excellent communication skills, writing and editing skills. • Good command over language and grammar. • Developing original content. • Outstanding editorial capabilities. • Sound understanding of publishing. • Problem solving capabilities. • Good English writing skills, strong vocabulary, reading & comprehension skills. • Strong Analytical skills. • Strong editing, writing, and proof-reading skills. • Proficiency in use of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet (Social Media). • Basic Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO).
