Hermes Adventures is a startup adventure travel company that offers adventure and city tours across northern India. We offer packaged as well as custom made adventure trips ranging from motorcycle tours, overlanding expeditions, 4X4 off-roading, wildlife safaris, archaeology & geology day trips, city tours, bicycle tours, rock climbing, trekking and rafting excursions. We are currently looking for a person who can help us with market research most of which will be online for the moment. We want to map the markets that we want to target, for example, we want to understand the expat market in India, where are the expats located? Where do they like to go? Popular bars, restaurants, markets, etc.  what are the top expat forums or websites or blogs in India? Who is the person running this blog, their contact details, What are the top facebook pages for expats? Are there any print magazines for expats? Are they interested in weekend tours or longer tours? What kind of activities they might be interested in? Similarly in the coming months we want to map multiple markets. We mostly expect you to do this research online or via phone if required. Although we may ask you to participate in some events to collect first hand information when needed. The basic requirement for the role is having an Internet connection and a personal computer. For the role, we will we will give you a deadline by which we expect you to have collected the data and typed/copy/pasted in MS Word in a clear and succinct manner with your own inputs and suggestions. Consider it to be like a thesis or a college project that you might have understand, what we getting at is that we don’t want to see a couple of pages of copy pasted rough notes. The remuneration for the job will be on a project basis, and depending in how long the market research project is (from 1 week to upto 1 month) we will pre-discuss with you the salary that will be paid out on completion and submission of the data to us. ----------------------------- Key Skills Required: (1)    You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills (2)    Good the MS office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel) (3)    Ability to complete the given task within the deadline and able work under pressure (4)    Ability to analyse and interpret data to make recommendations based on your analysis and experience with the data collection For any questions, email me at
