PROJECT ENGINEER FOR MAURITIUS IN INDIA

contracting organisation in Mauritius in the field of water and wastewater treatment, is looking to recruit a dynamic Project Engineer who will assist its Portfolio Manager in his daily tasks to ensure that the engineering activities of the organisation inclusive of but not restricted to design, project estimation, project management and quality control are delivered in a smooth and efficient manner. Key responsibilities • Carry out engineering activities as per company procedures and as per the guidance of the Portfolio Manager. • Provide engineering support on tenders and projects: carry out design calculations, material and equipment sizing, installation specifications, drawings control and approval, quality control and site inspections. • Carry out project management activities as per company procedures and as per the guidance of the Portfolio Manager. • Attend meetings on behalf of the organisation and report back. • Research and test new technologies, new engineering practices and new products to ensure that the company uses the latest prevailing standards. Candidate profile • Degree Holder in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field. • 3-4 year experience in the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing fields and preferably in a contracting organisation.
