Roles & Responsibilities: NA CBT Buying Team, extends Sourcing Support (end to end Source to Pay support) to IBM Clients from the US and Canada. NASH is the Procurement function of Integrated Supply Chain. We report into the S&GP vertical. Roles and Responsibilities: The Procurement Professional will be involved in Strategic Sourcing, Senior Sourcing Buyer, Telecom, NASH, US Support. Responsibilities include carrying out and analyzing RFPs, RFQs and RFI, negotiating Price with Suppliers, maintaining relationships with both internal and external key stake holders, and managing the Supplier relationship to a level consistent with IBM's Strategy, addressing stakeholder issues and executing sourcing strategies as set out by the Travel Council. This position requires to communicate directly with IBM Clients, understand their requirements, evaluate and align with IBM Travel and Event Sourcing Strategy and fulfill the same in a timely fashion. Key objective: Responsible for achieving Client Sat targets Perform Source Selection and Fair Value Analysis and present the same before the stakeholders for Business and Procurement approvals in line with IBM Procurement Policies and Practices. Understand and Apply IBM Agreements (T and C's) / Manage Contracts- The position will be required to have a deep understanding of IBM Travel Contracts and develop unique terms and conditions for the Products and Services being procured and negotiate them in IBMs favor with minimal or no changes. Manage the Contracts owned independently from day one and maintain strong SOX posture Understand Council KPI's and contribute to achieve the same, by implementing the Travel Council Commodity Strategy. Achieving Procurement Contribution & Cost Take Out targets, APT, SBM Targets, Supplier Diversity Program Targets, and Handsfree Targets Responsible to meet Business Controls objectives of procurement, including ensuring ongoing audit readiness and bluebook compliance. Position requires assisting Council members in executing Commodity strategies. Strong interface with Council Team Members, Travel Operations Manager, Council Chair and various clients. Skills required: a)Strong communication skills both written and verbal. b) Strong organization skills, attention to details & Good presentation skills, and a positive attitude to be responsive, passion and will to learn is must c)Ability to multi task. d) Client facing skills and Client relationship management skills e) Supplier relationship management skills d) Business Analytics e) Thorough understanding of Blue Book Policies and Practices is must. f) Project Management skills is must. g) Deep understanding of the current trends Travel industry is must. h) Thorough understanding of IBM Business Controls Procedures applied in Procurement, knowledge about SOX Testing is must i) Deep understanding of the SBM Processes j)The candidate should have deep Travel Industry Skill and Marcom Commodity knowledge would be added advantage k) Candidates should have a thorough understanding about Travel Procurement.
